Just received a Blaze 2 days ago. I've just plugged in its USB cable to the 4th Windows PC with no response from the device. I've tried 2 Windows 8.1 machines, 2 Windows 10 machines, and 1 Windows Phone 8.1. The Fitbit app for WP8.1 is ignorant of the Blaze, although HTC xt8 is listed as a supported device. Bluetooth shows a connection, but the Blaze does not respond to anything. The Fitbit on Windows 10 shows the Blaze as a supported device, but again, there is no response from the device to indicate it is ready to be setup (via Bluetooth, or USB). The Fitbit app on Windows 8.1 also does not inspire the Blaze to do anything. Is this thing DOA? I can't tell. How can I tell? Nothing I do moves it from the screen with logo and "fitbit.com/setup". I've spent hours on this and nothing. I'm ready to send it back... including an invoice for the time I've spent fooling with it. If you guys want some help programming, I do it for a living... this thing obviously needs help.

Excuse the silly question but have you tried going to that site, downloading the setup program and running it? Your fitbit will show no sign of life until the setup programme communicates with it.

Yup. 4 times. 1) WP8.1; 2) Windows 10 (twice, 2 machines); 3) Windows 8.1. The Blaze just layed there like my first girlfriend.

When sarong the Blaze is not responding, ate you saying that it isn't turning on, and displaying www.fitbit.com/setup?
Plugging it into power should have Fiennes it on automatically, that is if the Blaxe was inserted correctly, and the Charger is working.
What happens wroth a page of the button?

Except when totally dark (sleeping?), the Blaze shows a single screen: fitbit logo with "fitbit.com/setup" underneath. That's it. Nothing changes that. The Windows 10 PCs do react to connecting it via USB... they make their little beeps announcing the connection. The Blaze does nothing. I've seen one video depicting the Blaze displaying a "Charging" screen.. little battery icon, etc. That has never shown itself either, even when connected directly to power. Thanks for the thoughts, guys. I've begun the return process and purchased a Microsoft Band 2... a lot less headache I think. Should have that tomorrow. 😕

My understanding is that the Blaze is plugged into the windows computer, it beeps to tell you thst out sees it. Then wait for Windows to download the drivers you need. Now the Firbit app should see the Blaze amd should be anle to set up theough its charging cable.

Hello @EricJohnson welcome to the Fitbit Community! The Blaze will not display the battery icon or any information on the screen until the set up process is complete. I would recommend to troubleshoot as instructed here. If after the troubleshoot you are still experiencing issues, I would suggest to contact customer support so they can assist you. @Rich_Laue and @SteveH thanks for your cooperation! 🙂
