Data did not reset at midnight

I shut down my blaze last night.  This morning I turned it on and yesterday's steps where still there.    I shutdown the blaze 3 times and restarted it.   Is there a way to zero out the steps?    Should I not shut the blaze down overnight?

@Paigelohman, there is no way of resetting your steps once this happens.

 

I believe that it is connected with turning off your Blaze at night, as most recent reports of this issue have been from people who reported that they had turned theirs off.  After the recent update to the Blaze the clock stops when the Blaze is turned off.  

 

However, experience has been mixed.  Some people have reported that they can turn it off and their steps reset normally.

 

i think if you don't turn it off, it won't happen.  If you decide to experiment with this, please report back!
