Yes, a sync with your phone will correct the date and time.

Hey guys @rstracey @Samma4, great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 😄

As @rstracey says, syncing your tracker will make the time and date on your tracker to update. Now, whenever your tracker runs out of battery or if you turn it of for a long time, the whole night for example, when you put it to charge and it comes back on or if you turn it back on if you turned it off previously, it's very important for you to sync your tracker for it to update the date and time and for all your activity to be recorded correctly.

Anything else you may need, we're here to help!

I did a sync. The date is correct but time is not.

What next?

Hey @barals. Great to see you around!

If it didn't correct by syncing it, you can try to restart your Blaze. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

After that, sync it again and see if the time and date are correct now.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi @MacKenlee. Welcome to the Community Forums!

Can you try to set it up as a new device? For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem and the time and date should appear fine.

Let me know how it goes!

It took almost 12 hours after the reset but the correct time has come back. THanks.

Hi @MDFlash. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I can help you with this! Your Fitbit Blaze will update the time every time it syncs to your phone. For that reason it's important that the time on your phone is correct so that it reflects that on your tracker. Now, make sure to tap at the top right corner of the app to go to the Account section, here scroll down to Advanced Settings and here, in Time Zone, make sure it's set to "Set automatically" and that in Time Zone your country is selected.

After that, make sure to sync your tracker and the time should be fine on the display.

Let me know if you need more help!

Did you try by any chance to set it up as a new device? If not, please take a look at my post above on how to do it and let me know how it goes.

Also, make sure to check the Time Zone settings on your app as I describe on my previous post.
