Device not recording data after low battery notification

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been having a repetitive issue where if my Blaze gets to the point where I get an email advising of low battery that it stops recording heart and sleep data. Often it looks ok and its only after checking in the app (which I only do every 2-3 days) it becomes apparent that the data immediately after recharging is lost (or at least not synced). Anyone got any ideas how to overcome?

Hello @StumpyPete, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your post, thanks for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting too, seems odd that your Blaze is behaving in such way. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to try the following steps to restart your device:

  1. For Fitbit Blaze, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Done all that, but after I have done it all the data from the period where it hasn't recorded is gone apparently. I have days of missing data.

Your reply is appreciated @StumpyPete.

Thanks for sharing that information with me. To see the information reflected on your Fitbit account, you can manually log the information that was unfortunately not synced. To do so, you can refer to our help article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Please contact me back if you experience the same situation again, I'll be here ready to help you with this.
