I'm delighted to confirm to Fit bit that I've finally had enough of having to force my Blaze to sync (sometimes it takes 2 mins, sometimes it takes 20 mins, sometimes it NEVER works). My heart rate no longer registers (I'm confident I am still alive). It has been 3 years of problems with the occasional high point (280,000 lifetime floors! though I wonder how long ago I actually achieved that seeing as a lot of my data gets lost due to sync issues). I'm purchasing a Samsung device, I doubt I'll bother with Fitbit again.

Hello @Discotony, welcome to the Community Forums!
First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. In regards the heart rate tracking issue, please try the steps from our help article: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device?
Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.
