Dial Loose in the Frame

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my Blaze for only 3 days. The dial is sliding forward and back inside the frame. It is only a few millimeters but this is concerning as well as frustrating. Is this a fault in my Blaze only or is there some kind of adjustment I'm missing?

Please help me on this as otherwise I'm thinking of returning the Blaze.

Thanks

Vikas

Hello @vicky1985 I believe that you are refferring to the unit that gets removed when charging thedevice, Fitbit calls this the pebble.

This sliding movement is normal and actually needed for the rracker to be removed from the frame.

As the pebble is removed or inserted the side edges need to bow slightly out. So the peeble may get past the folded edges of the frame.

gor the sides to  be able to bow out it needs to be anle to pull at the top and bottom sides of the frame. This slack, allowing the tracker to slide, is what allows the edges to bow out durring the removal/inserting of the peeble.

What you are seeing is normal

Experiment time:

Take a square plastic container

Pull two oppisides apart

Watch what happens to the other two edges.
