Hello Moderators,
I would like you to ask the Developers and share with us what the differences are between standard Bluetooth and Bluetooth Classic pairing with the Blaze.
Initially I had to use Bluetooth Classic to get my Blaze to show call notifications of phone numbers not in my contacts and standard Bluetooth for all other notifications but lately all my call notifications were very slow and late and most of my other message and app notifications were not coming through. Turning off Bluetooth Classic and unpairing that from the phone worked for me to speed up syncing and have all my notifications come through instantly again. Even numbers not in my contacts are displayed on the Blaze.
Please share with the community the differences regarding which is needed for what purpose (notifications, GPS tracking, music control, fast syncing) so that we can all decide the best pairing for our needs.
This might also go a long way to discovering what the real cause of everyone's problems are.
Thanks in advance.

@KLeBlazeS5 It's great to see you participating in the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.
I'll be happy to clarify your question about standard Bluetooth and Bluetooth classic. Your Bluetooth classic will only be available if you would like to use music control, you can learn more about it by checking this article: How do I control music with my Fitbit device?
Regarding the standard Bluetooth, Fitbit trackers and watches use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to sync with phones, tablets, and certain computers. Check this article to learn more about it.
Since, you mentioned you had issues with your notifications, you might want to try the troubleshooting in this article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for the clarification.
What I have found recently is that Bluetooth Classic seems to be delaying and sometimes interfering with notifications on my Blaze and Samsung android phone. As I don't use my Blaze for music control I have turned it off and unpaired it from my phone which has brought notifications and syncing back to how they were years ago when I first purchased it.
Maybe you could have the developers investigate this part of the Blaze and Fitbit App to see why Bluetooth Classic might be interfering so much with notifications and syncing. It could be a clue to why so many others are having notification troubles on Android phones.
