Disable turning on the screen when tapped

Hello,

 

I do boxing and other types of exercise where I would like to disable the tap to turn on the screen.  I would like the screen to only come on when I push a button.  

 

I contacted chat, and they said they could not help, so I'm reaching out the community.

 

This used to be an option with my Charge HR.

Currently there is not a way to turn that off. 

 

You can got to feature request and vote/post there for this to be added.

i am very upset with this issue and will likely return, and leave negative feedback on review. this makes boxing impossible-I will go back to charge HR
