Jogged/walked 4+ miles and started with 0.3 prior to exercise. Blaze shows 3.5 mi after exercise. It is off by at least a mile. Suggestions on how to get better accuracy?

Hi there @SportyTeach. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I'd like to help you to get a way more accurate distance reading on your Fitbit Alta HR!
If you're using your tracker for everyday regular tracking, the best way to make sure that your distance will be accurate is to set your personal stride length.
To measure your walking stride length:
Then, do the following to set it:
Now, if you're tracking a run, a walk or a hike, it's better if you use the Connected GPS feature which will use your GPS distance instead of using your stride length distance which is more accurate.
For this, before you go on a run, walk or hike, open the Fitbit app, tap on the Exercise tile, tap on the stop watch at the top right corner and make sure you're on the Track tab. Choose what type of activity you'll be doing (run, walk, hike) and start and end your activity from your phone. That way the distance for that activity will be more accurate.
Hope this helps and anything else, I'm here to help!
