Several problems with Fitbit Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So after owning my Fitbit Blaze for close to two years I just now noticed it having troubled issues. 1. While filling my truck up it restated itself several times. 2. Stopped tracking entirely. 3. The touchscreen failed to leave the clock face. 4. Turned off completely. And 5. Putting it into the supplied Fitbit  charging dock nothing registers that it’s even charging.

Mind the day before I had a complete charge or at least it said it was a complete charge because 6. Gave false charge information and would dropped down almost immediately after removing from the dock. Can someone please help me with this issue? Is it trash and I’ll need to invest my time and money into a more reliable fitness tracker?

Hi there @Medic651. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that your tracker is not working as it should. I'd like to help you out with this!

First, I would recommend doing two things. Restarting your tracker and setting it up as a new device.

For restarting your tracker, you can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. Then proceed to set it up as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Now, about the battery problem, I can recommend putting it to charge and once it's fully charged, take it off the cradle and put it on. Sync it and use it as you would normally do. Make sure to sync it frequently after this so that the battery levels are recorded on the app logs and once the battery dies, let me know so that I can take a closer look and then we can move forward with other options to get you back on track.

I'll be looking forward for your reply. Let me know if you need anything else!
