Distance for Bluetooth

How far away can my phone and Blaze be from each other and still receive notifications?  When I'm at work, my phone is typically in my office, but I am frequently at someone else's desk.  I have crews that I communicate with frequently throughout the day, mostly through text.

Well @Shanty831 technically Bluetooth is a short distance radio of a maximum 30 fee5, originally  designed to interface with printers and storage, but i degress.

This however will depend on what kind of interference is around. a lot of metal walls, partitions, desks, and radio waves could drastically affect the distance .

At my home i can sync a known distance  as far as 50 feet, and one time i noticed  my tracker  synced when i did not have any way to. My nearest Fitbitter neighbors PC is abot 80 - 90 feet away. Is that how it synced?
