A few weeks ago I noticed my battery on my Blaze was needing to be charged almost every day (normal for me is 4-5 days).
After monitoring a while I noticed that my iPhone and Blaze seem to be syncing an awful lot (explained the battery drain).
I had a heck of a job getting the Blaze and Iphone fixed and all seemed fine. Until a few weeks later and I am back to the same battery issue / not syncing again.
If I go into the fitbit app on my phone the app will attempt to sync, get half way and stop.
I have tried removing the device and iOS app. Thie time I removed the iOS app and reinstalled. Now my Blaze displays the 4 digit pin and I get "connecting to fitbit" and there my phone sits.
Has anyone else had ths issue ?
The device is usuable again
(iOS 10.2, I installed the last Blaze patch of September).

Welcome to the Community @Darrenf! Thank you so much for all the details that you've mentioned. The reason why your Blaze and the Fitbit app was syncing so many times a day might be because of "All-day sync" is a setting that allows the app to sync periodically in the background. This setting is enabled in the app by default, however some users experience their iOS device or tracker to drain their battery more quickly than normal.
However, it sounds kinda weird that you're getting just one day of battery life. You may want to check this tips to improve your tracker's battery life.
Regarding your Blaze not syncing to your app, please restart it and try to sync it again. If you're not seeing your Blaze tracker in your app anymore, this means that you remove it from your account and you may need to set it up again.
Hope this helps. Let me know the outcome.

In an effort to conserve battery I had disabled 'All day sync'.
not sure what I did this time around but the Blaze and my iPhone seem to be playing together happier atm.
I am a software developer by trade - I have tried to document my troubleshooting efforts but the 'fault' seems to require different fixes to reolve the issue. Its very inconsistent and annoying (especially when I have to travel.
I upgraded from the HR to the Blaze because of the better battery life!

I am also having this problem and nothing seems to work. My fitbit will just not sync to my iphone, the syncing bar will get to half way and then stop.

so is there a solution to this or no? because i havent able to sync it for the past 2 weeks and it seems like fitbit is really slow at fixing these things.

I don't have any of those issues.

Have had the very same issue with both mine and my wife's Blaze within a week of one another. Can't do anything at all to get it to sync. Have had two very long conversations with customer service that have resulted in them sending me replacements. Very frustrating because they have no explanation as to why it is happening.

@Darrenf Thanks for letting me know that after you've disabled "all day sync" it started working properly.
@jimmy2823 It's great to see you around! I would like you to make sure that you've done this syncing troubleshoot.
@Kross14 A warm welcome to the Community! Please double check that you're doing this set up procedure. You don't have to pair your tracker through Bluetooth.
@Driver8666 @Medic13622 Thanks for sharing your experiences! 🙂

Hi SilvaFitbit
Thats not what I said - I said I disabled all day sync to try and conserve battery on my Blaze.
Blaze and iPhone are syncing correctly still after the last delete/destroy/tear down procedure I went through but I am not confident this issue will not come back (I think the issue manefested on the September Fitbit update.

@jimmy2823 I temporarily fixed this issue by going into my settings > Bluetooth > Blaze > "forget this device." (I have an iPhone, I'm assuming it would be similar with other phones?).
Then I go back into the Fitbit app and try to sync and it will work.
HOWEVER, I "solved" this issue a few days ago by doing that, and then today it did the same thing: went to sync and would only load the sync bar halfway before stopping. So obviously this is not a permanent fix. If it happens again, I will be contacting costumer service. Clearly it's an issue that many users are having right now which leads me to believe it's an issue with a recent update.

In regards to sync I have my all day sync on, but I still get the 5 days out of the battery as my Bluetooth is on only when I need to use it.
It's not a issue with the recent update for me.
