Hi there @Lucyloo83. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I think I can help you with this! Distance is closely related to your stride length and will be determined by this when you're not using the Connected GPS feature which determines your distance based on your phone's GPS system.

I'd recommend checking your stride length if you haven't done that already. For this, go to your Fitbit app and tap on the Account icon at the top right corner of the dashboard. Then, scroll down to Settings and look for the Advanced Settings. Go to the last section that says Stride Length and either, set it to "Set automatically" or enter your custom stride length.

Follow the steps below to calculate your stride length and then add it to your Fitbit account:

  1. Go to a track or some place where you're sure of the distance.
  2. Count your steps as you walk across that distance, making sure you travel at least 20 steps.
  3. Divide the total distance (in feet) taken by the number of steps to get your stride length.

Your running stride can be calculated the same way if you run instead of walk.

Hope this helps!
