Hi there @mlwwarranwood. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
It's weird that the distance is showing different for the same path. I'd say that a little difference would be acceptable... How much is the discrepancy? Also, do you record your walk by starting a Walking activity record on your Blaze or do you let Smart Track to record it for you automatically?
If you're using your tracker to manually record your walks, do you notice if the GPS stays connected for the whole exercise?
Just in case, I could recommend restarting your tracker. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.
Try that out and let me know if you're still having problems with this.

Hi, I ran a distance I know is exactly 4 miles this morning ( measured by a bicycle wheel tool) and my Blaze recorded it as 3.77 miles. I walked the exactly same distance this afternoon and my Blaze recorded it as 4.23 miles. The elevation gain this morning was 88 feet and the same distance was 155 feet this afternoon. I understand there is such a thing as uncertainty of measurement but I feel the range on this difference is more than I think is acceptable. I have raised this issue before but never have received a satisfactory response. The difference in measurement affects the speed measurement and quite frankly makes a farce of all the measurements.
At best I think the Blaze is giving a rough measurement and I wonder about all the other parameters such as heart rate and sleep measurements. Are we being conned?
