Do ANY of the Fitbits actually work with a cell phone made later than 2010?

I have the new LG V30 and it  WILL NOT EVER sync with the phone, hell the app can't even find the stupid piece of crap!  I have tried deleting/unpairing the Fitbit, but nothing works!  1st Fitbit I got the battery stopped holding a charge, nor they can't even stay connected to a cell phone, what the hell good are they?!

You may be out of luck with this - the V30 isn't on the list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices

I am extremely disappointed in this. I also have an LG V30 and will have to return the new Blaze I just bought since it won't pair correctly. I was able to get phone call notifications and notifications from other apps, but never for a text message. I considered syncing it to my work phone until they get around to making it work with the V30...but the iPhone 8 isn't on the list of compatible phones either!
