You also could change the settings to off if you really want to. But you will just need to remember to turn it back on

Hello @Pebble74 welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂 When you are not wearing your tracker you can turn it off to save the battery life. Just a question the heart rate goes up when you are not wearing it?  @WendyB thanks for your cooperation! It's great to have you here 🙂

I'll be around if you have any questions! 🙂

@Pebble74 is the Heart rate set to auto?  If so, it should turn the heart tracking off within 5 seconds of removing the Blaze from the arm.

If the HR is set tp on it may continue to read false HR rates, but it should not go up.

Hello @Pebble74 and @Rich_Laue!  @Pebble74 keep me posted about turning off the heart rate on your tracker as it shoudn't be recording your heart rate if you are not wearing it.

I'll be arround if you have any questions! 🙂

I could not figure out why my Blaze would continue to have the green light on when I took it off.  My Charge 2 would automatically turn off.  Not I realize that the setting for heart rate was set to ON.  Thanks for the help.
