Does the Blaze have an inactivity alert?

I've been using a Basis Peak for a while now, but they all got recalled and support has been dropped. I therefore am looking for a replacement. One thing that I can't live without is the inactivity alert which is set to trigger every hour if I haven't gotten up and moved around. The Peak displays a notification and vibrates. I have a health condition so this is EXTREMELY important to me. I can't get an activity tracker unless it has this feature.

Only the fitbit Alta has this function at the moment although fitbit have said that it will be coming to the Blaze in a future firmware update. No date has been given for this.

On the Alta are you able to get a notification and vibration and set the trigger time?

@Riekopo, welcome to the blaze forum 🙂 No Iam not managing this one after the peak forum 🙂
I tried a blaze and it was very good. It does not have the move alert like the peak. No idea if it will ever be implemented though.
Everything worked fine except the calories. It is important to me so I had to return it. I did like the customization feature of the blaze with different band. It was not waterproof though.
I am watching the forum to see if a new firmware update fixes all that.

@Riekopo Yes the alta will vibrate if you have not walked 250 steps with in that hour.

Is there a thread to request the inactivity alert for the Blaze? Would sell a lot more with this small feature.

There is a feature request for a reminder to move, which will be added to the Blaze with the soon to be released update.
