Double counting

I use the elliptical, I manually start the tracker (blaze) when I finish I have 2 workouts 1 elliptical and 1 run. How do I fix this

Hmm, when you say you manually started the tracker, are you choosing "run" from the list of exercises?  I'm am guessing that it is also automatically detecting the motion of the elliptical and logging that as well.  I would simply delete the run activity, and stop manually starting the tracker going forward.

 

When you have multiple activities logged during the same time period fitbit seems to use the calorie and activity burn from the higher activity when calculating daily numbers.  Because the two activities overlap, deleting one of them will change your daily calorie, but not by the amount shown when you look at the detail in the activity, just by the amount that is more than what the other activity registers.  If you delete them both, your calorie and activity numbers will be based simply on the motion your tracker detected during the exercise.
