I have a fitbit Blaze and am trying to download dat form the web application on mac. The operation goes on for hours bit never completes the download. Any suggestions to correct this would eb greatly appreciated

There is a known problem with the data export function at the moment. Keep an eye on the following thread that has the latest updates from fitbit:
