Hi, my blaze has auto detected that I was assumedly doing elliptical workouts at 1am and 3am while I was in fact sound asleep with the tracker on my wrist. I've been using fitbits for over 2 years. This never happened before and now twice within a short time. What's going on? How does the tracker identify elliptical workout?

Hi @Caimantra!
Your Blaze automatically identifies an Elliptical workout based on your movement. One possibility could be if you had a rough night of sleep. Tossing and turning, etc. I would take a look at your sleep log to check this kind of data.
If that’s not the case, a simple restart can solve even the most frustrating issues. Below you will find the short steps you have to take in order to restart your tracker:
1.) Press and hold the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
2.) Let go of the buttons.
If All fails, I would highly suggest contacting Fitbit Support via Chat!
If any of the above solve your problem, please ‘Accept as Solution’!

@RunningFreak Thanks for your quick reply! That was nice.
Checked the sleep log. One time Blaze recorded elliptical, I was in light sleep, the other in deep sleep. No rough nights. So I went with the restart option. Will see what happens over the next week and accept solution if things are good.

Glad it’s not just me! I thought I was having seizures or something! Seems like a glitch if I’m reading Fitbit alert correctly. Some new iOS compatibility issues!
