Email Notifications: Filter Certain Accounts (eg. Work)

I love getting email notifications on my Blaze... except my work emails. I need to get all push notifications for email on my phone (which then sends all or none ofthem to my wrist), but it would be great to filter the huge volume of work emails before they vibrate my Blaze. Thanks!

I did a very quick search of the Feature Suggestion site and found filtering has already been suggested, it is over their that the developers look for users input.

@Rich_Laue That post is not the same. That post is asking for email notifications (which now exist- ALL accounts can be turned on/off). I'm asking to scale WHICH email notifications I get.

Apologies if I offended you. That is what I was trying to do-- add a suggestion.

Not the perfect solution but could you get the e-mails using different apps [i.e.gmail for personal, outlook for work] and then only enable notifications from one of those apps.

@ATG I have an iPhone, and its easy to limit email notifications sent to Blaze. If you go to Settings > Notifications > Mail then you can specify which accounts send notifications to the Lock Screen. And the Blaze only displays notifications sent to Lock Screen.

I have 5 mail accounts on my phone, and only 1 sends notifications to the Lock Screen. The rest are only configured to update the unread mail badge on the app's icon.

Unfortunately that's not an option for everybody. I have a similar issue, where I use GMail for personal emails, and my work also uses GMail for mobile access to our Exchange-based system through Google For Work. Fitbit does not discriminate between these two versions of the GMail app; I chose GMail as my mail app, so I get everything that comes to my phone via that app, whether personal or work profile. I can't change the mail app the work profile uses, and I'm not sure I can change the personal side either since it's an actual GMail account on an Android phone; Google can be pretty insistent about that kind of thing.

@Liko81 my understanding is that the Blaze can only receive notifications that appear on your lock screen. I'm on iOS and can control that on an app-by-app basis. Are you able to control what appears on your lock screen on Android? If it doesn't appear on your lock screen, it won't appear on your Blaze.

Put another way, the Blaze relies on the Notification Centers in Android and iOS, which is a good thing and allows you to control what appears on Blaze (other wearables have been doing this for years).
