I logged out of my account yesterday in order to correct my email address. I finally corrected it from to my correct address but in the process I lost 6 months of data. Is there a way to access that old account and move it to my new correct account?

You need to retain the same email address to retain old info. You set up a new one with new email you lose it.
To me it sounds like you lost it.
I would remove your emails from your posts its not safe. But its your choice.
All you had to do was change your email in your existing account. But you choose to set up new? Am i hearing this correct?
Im really confused

I agree it sounds as if you opened a second account, my thought is to log out of mortiz and see if you are able to log into morriz. If you can then their are a few option, the easiest is to change mortiz, so that you'll be able to change morriz

@Used2B-PT Sounds like you have had two accounts simultaneously for quite some time. You won't be able to transfer data from one account to the other, so I'd suggest contacting Customer Support and have them deactivate the account with the correct email address so that you can change the email on the account with the incorrect email address to the correct one. You won't be able to change your email address if an account already exists with that email.
Or if you don't want to contact support, you can try changing the email address on the account with the correct email to a different email address and that will free up the email address you want to switch to.
Whatever you decide, just make sure you choose the account that you want to keep using (presumably the one with the most data on it).
Does that make sense?

@Used2B-PT please contact fitbit as @AndrewFitbit has suggested.. Your account has not been deleted, the data is still there and the email address associated with the account just needs to be found.
