I know that most activity trackers have difficulty tracking stationary rowing. It would be great if my fitbit was able to sync with the ErgData program that Concept 2 uses. Erg syncs with Apple Health, so it should be possible. I can manually log my workouts, but it would be nice to pull over heart rate info, distance and active calories.
Fitbit doesn't allow any 3rd party to import heart rate data. And Fitbit doesn't broadcast your heart rate to any machines in the gym.
With cycling, I use Endomondo-to-Fitbit connection to get rides logged as Activities in Fitbit. However due to Fitbit restrictions, it only imports time, calories, and distance

Best AnswerI also use a concept 2 rower for my cardio, having logged over a million meters and agree that Fitbit dashboard integration would be very useful, especially when I wear a heart rate monitor. The manual entry is a pain and it way underestimates calorie burn
