Greetings,
My normal amount of calorie burn, total, is about 2700. Today it is already 4200 and the day has another 8 hours in it. I have not done excess exercise today, just the usual. How is it that my calories have always been 2700 plus/minus 500 and all of a sudden today it is 1500 extra? How can this be fixed?

My first thought would be to look at the breakdown of the calorie impact. Second thought are your steps also high? Did the tracker reset art midnight?

Thanks for replying. In answer to your questions, the breakdown of the calorie impact shows absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. All exercises today amounted to about 500, very common day. Steps are not higher than normal, about 12K. I have had 15K before with not near this high of calories. And finally, I do not know how to check if the tracker reset at midnight, but all exercises are showing today's date so I think so. Any other suggestions? I'm now up to nearly 5K calories, right about 2.2 higher than normal. Crazy.

Maybe check you height and (especially) your weight in the Body Info section of your profile at https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit. "Something bad" might have happened and modified your data.
And coincidentally 2.2 is the number of pounds in a kilogram... The units of measurement might have (accidentally?) changed from pounds to kilograms.
