Extra large bands for Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This is very frustrating.

I bought a Blaze a couple of years ago. Got XL band. I am a big guy with wrists ~ 8.5 inches. I never even considered that Fitbit would stop making bands for people my size.

My current band broke and I was forced to cobble something together from Amazon. Then the left button on the Blaze stopped working so I looked in to getting a newer Fitbit item.

None of the current products have bands that fit me and the one that comes close (Charge 3) has printing on the device too small for me to read without glasses.

Ironically I recently bought an Aria 2. Unless I find bands to fit me, all I have left is a fancy scale that is somewhat useless by itself.

There would be no issue of Fitbit continued to make band XL sizes like they have in the past. It really feels like they couldn't care less about people that need larger sizes.

Questions:

1) Does Fitbit intend to make larger band sizes ever again for any of their products?

2) If not, why not?

Hey @RandyBassett, it's great to see you here.

Regarding your inquiries, we found that our band sizes fit most customers and allow for continued and comfortable use of the device. We don’t provide extra large bands for Fitbit devices. For more information about the size of your Fitbit device, see the sizing chart of your device at  our store.

Note that for most Fitbit devices, the small band fits most customers.

See you later. Smiley Happy

But you didn't answer why. I bought this device and went all in with Fitbit assuming I would be able to continue using your products well inti the future. I bought an Aria 2 as well. Now I feel like a second class customer.

Your products might fit most, but not all.

What are existing customers supposed to do?

Randy

I am an above average person. I am currently using a Charge 2 with an XL band. My Charge 2 was purchased with the extra large band and it fits the last hole. My wrist measures approximately 265mm / 10.4 inches. I'm thinking of upgrading my Charge 2 to a waterproof device for the summer swim season. I'm having trouble finding a product that supports my wrist size, even if I purchase the band separately. Do any of the new product line come with a comparable XL band size?

The strap sizes don't work well for anyone with larger wrists - I am not out of the ordinary range for any other product. Please don't just cater for mass market sizes and ignore others.

Fitbit has been bought out... Won't be long before it is rebranded and us on the outside of the 'bell curve' will be forgotten.... the stuff of myths and legends. Sent from my Samsung device. Please forgive errors and /or omissions.
