After trawling hundreds of forums amd help chats for a solution to my Fitbit Blaze /Samsung Galaxy S8 bluetooth notifications with no luck, I finally tried the following and it WORKED! (28th December 2017).
All calls, messages, calendar notifications now come through. I made sure all notifications were switched to on in the Fitbit app beforehand.
--------------------------------
1. On your S8, go to Settings > Software Update > Download updates manually
2. Download all Android updates and install.
3. Phone will reset and update all apps on a green screen- takes 5 mins or so
4. Problem solved - send a test notification from the Fitbit app and it should work.

*N.B. this was my second Fitbit Blaze as the first didn't charge when plugged in
Good luck!

Hello there,
I followed your instructions, however my phone tells me I already have the latest updates...
This is a screen shot of what I get when I select "download updates manually"
Let me know if this is the same version as yours.

My current updates are:

It only worked for me after doing this, if you have the same updates it may be something else?

Hey there,
Thanks for the reply! It seems we have different updates.
I guess I will either have to wait for it to become available to me or find a way to download it.
Cheers!

My Blaze was fixed in the same time frame as yours, but stopped working a week later. Is yours still working?
