For the last two days, there has been a fault on my tracker. It is radically over stating my total calories burned. It is saying that I have burned over 2000 calories between midnight and 7am (all I have done is get up and get a cup of coffee):
Calories Burned
In fact, it is registering my activity accurately: from midnight to 7am, it recognises that I have only actually burned 527 calories: Actual Activity
Why aren't the two sets of data matching up? I've had my FitBit for 6 months and it has been fine up until now - I don't know why it is suddenly adding in an extra 1490 calories out of nowhere. It makes the FitBit absolutely unusable. Has anyone else experienced this same fault? I have just "reset" my tracker, by should I do anything else?
Any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks for your relpy Rich. Yes, those settings asre all fine. It has been (and continues to ) track my actual activity correctly - it is just adding nearly 1500 additional calories to my "total calories burned" for no reason
