Fit bit blaze not working

I have just purchased a Fitbit blaze for my brother and all it does is show the Fitbit logo on screen and when you put it on charge the screen goes blank and doesn't show the battery charge logo but if I put mine in charger it does so it's not the charger, I have tried to reset it as explained in one of your topics but still nothing , if the battery is that low how long will it take to become functional or is there a problem with it ?

First charge can take 2-3 hours.

But after at 1/2 hour or sooner you should see the battery charging by pushing the button up front on the charger

 

Contact support if it does not start charging. Or if you bought it else where take it back and exchange it.
