FitBit Blaze not picking up correct heartrate!

Hi guys n gals!

Going through a frustration with my Blaze at the moment! When I have been on the exercise bike recently my Blaze is showing my heartrate as resting for the majority of the time I am on it! Obviously I am pushing hard and know that my heartrate gets up to 160bpm, but when I end the exercise on my band and sync it to my phone - it says my average heartrate was 87bpm! I may as well be hoovering at home! Anyone else finding this?

Also started doing a Body Pump class at the gym - again my band said I was an average of around 80bpm. Only at ONE point during the class I looked at my band and it said 130bpm.. then started falling! Starting to get annoyed because I feel like I am having to guess my cal burn and add it manually via MyFitnessPal - which I shouldn't have to do? I wonder if I am wearing my band too tight or too loose? It seems to be a recent thing 😞

A warm welcome to the Forums @Sabz79. If your tracker is not registering your heart rate information as it should, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see why this information might be affected and there you will see some tips to improve this.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
