FitBit Blaze won't sync

I recently got a fitbit Blaze and managed to set it up fine, everything was working and it was connected with my phone. However, a couple of days ago it ran out of battery and when I charged it up it was no longer connected to my phone.

I have tried everything...

  • I have reset my fitbit multiple times
  • Updated my phone software
  • Turned my Bluetooth on and off
  • Force closed the app
  • Tried the troubleshoot
  • Tried to sync on another device
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled the app

My phone isn't connected to any other Bluetooth devices and my wifi connection is good. I don't know what to do anymore.

I just called the helpline for Fitbit and they have sorted it out, I suggest giving them a call.

I recently got a Blaze as well and am unable to sync it either.  Also the time seems to change at random ...

Me too...working on it, blame recent iOS release.  I had my blaze for about 1 year, worked great but then installed the latest iOS a few days ago, then no more sync.

this is how I fixed it...

- remove blaze from my app.

- add the blaze back to my app

- follow instructions (basically, restart the blaze by pressing the left and lower right buttons simultaneously and holding for about 5 - 10 secs)

- phone paired with blaze and synced.

- good-to-go

I have tried that as well, multiple times, it manages to find my devise but always gets stuck on the 'connecting with tracker' phase and I have not been able to get past that. Thanks for your help though.

I'm struggling with the same issues.  I have tried everything that has been mentioned above.

I'm having the same issues. I have deleted the app, re installed it. Restarted my blaze, turned off my bluetooth, forgot device. Tried to set it up and it won't even pick up my blaze now.

Was it a 800 number?

The number for the UK is 0800 069 8505 I don’t know if it is different for different countries, try just searching the number for the country that you are in, also visit the Fitbit help page for other ways to contact them.
