I tried to start my daughter's Blaze. It was working fine when she stopped using it about a year or so ago. Plugged it into charger, flashed battery charging symbol, then went to fitbit logo flashing off and on. Charged it up fully and it is stuck with the fitbit logo flashing off and on.
Power off and reset buttons do nothing, have tried this many times per googling this problem and this forum. Will not blue tooth connect (not even visible). Will not connect directly to USB in Samsung S9 or Windows 10. Nothing will stop this flashing log or turn the screen off. It hesitates briefly when pressing the (left and lower right) buttons to reset, but then keeps flashing indefinitely.
Solution seems to be contact tech support or they will contact you. Is there a solution for this? My last resort before the trash can is to try to take it apart and force a hard reboot by cutting battery power. Has anyone tried this? I hate to throw out a $200 device.
