Fitbit Blaze Charging Issue

Hola! So I bought my first ever Fitbit yesterday at 5.30 pm Australian Time and I have been trying to get it to work since. The update and installation process went off just fine in under a cool 6 minutes but what's bothering me is how long it is taking to charge and whether it is holding the charge at all. I've been trying endlessly to charge the device since completing the update but I've found no success. Ever so often the charging indicator would shift from a red color to a blue but it would never go green. And I've never once noticed the big battery indicator sign that is supposed to pop on screen when the blaze is put into the charger. I don't want to have to return it and get a new one but I hope to keep that as a last resort. Could anyone please help me before it comes to that? Cheers!

Hello @AmaarA what a great tracker to start with! I must admit I love my Blaze Heart The Blaze should should reach a full charge in 2 hours, I would recommend to review this help article How do I charge my tracker? to make sure you are charging it properly. If you are and the battery is not charging I would recommend to visit the retailer for an exchange or contact customer support so they can review if the Blaze is working properly!

If you are and the battery is not charging I would recommend to visit the retailer for an exchange or contact customer support so they can review if the Blaze is working properly!

Thank you very much for the reply Angela. Apparently I had been sold a faulty charger so I went and got my unit replaced. Now I couldn't be happier with my device. I just do want to ask. Is there any future for the Blaze where we can see more clock faces than the ones we already have access to and also when would the update containing a supposed "Reminder To Move" be put into action?

Hello @AmaarA hope you are having a wonderful day! 🙂 I'm glad to know your unit got replaced.  I would suggest to visit the Feature Request board to share your comments and ideas. I found the idea to have more options on the Blaze clock face has already been suggested, please click here vote for the idea and add your comment! 🙂 Also the reminder to move is currently only available in the Fitbit Alta, and this feature has been suggested for the Blaze you can vote for the idea here
