Fitbit Blaze Exercise Mode Treadmill

I just use the treadmill (walking) for exercise. Do I need to put the blaze in exercise mode and push "let's go"? What is the significance of doing that OR what am I losing out on if I don't go into exercise mode and just do the same workout on my treadmill?

By the Way, I just started yesterday after bringing the Blaze home.

@MudShark7, if you select the treadmill exercise and press the button to go, when you sync your Blaze it will create a record of your treadmill session (don't forget to press the button again when you have finished).

If you don't select treadmill and press the button, then SmartTrack will likely detect your workout, depending on your settings.

It is really up to you which you prefer.  Just ask if anything is unclear.
