Fitbit Blaze - Green screen and unresponsive

Good Afternoon,

My fitbit blaze has suddenly appeared with a green stripy screen that is continually flickering on and off. The device is completely unresponsive and I am therefore unable to reset. When I plug the Fitbit into the charging dock it does not respond and continues to flicker with the green stripy screen.

The device has not been bumped, or gotten wet in any way. 

When going onto the Fitbit app, the app is no longer able to locate the fitbit.

If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

Is there a real fix for this?  This same problem has been happening more often. It is usually followed by a clock face error too.  Rebooting the device each time is not an optimal fix.

I took my Fitbit back to the retailer who replaced it straight away
