I see a new thing on my dashboard that says move reminders. Is my Blaze supposed to vibrate to remind me to move? Because it doesn't. Is there a way to get it to remind me to move?

@dannosarusrex Welcome. We believe that will be in a later release of the Firmware for the Blaze. The Alta was probably the test ground. We are all waiting for the feature to add to the new Hourly Activity/Stationary app.

The thing on the dashboard is not a reminder, but a record of which hours you moved at least 250 steps.

Does anyone know anything more about this?

If I go into the settings on the 'hourly activity' section, it says that the hours for the start and end time will impact when I recieve move reminders....I dont get move reminders and don't see a way to set it either!

thanks

@JenBlackham The Blaze at this time does not have the reminders. Do not know when it will be available

All you  can really do at this time is set an alarm hourly to go off

Not sure if there have been any more updates on being able to get 'move reminders' by vibration notification on the Blaze so I thought I'd ask here.

I noticed that some ppl (from maybe the FitBit corporate offices??) are copying and pasting the same message: "Blaze-Surge-Charge HR-Charge-One -Retired Ultra / GALAXY S5- Linux through galileo - Samsung S5 Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information..." which not only is not helpful at all but VERY annoying as well.

I have the app on my iPhone if that is any help for reference.

Any substantial information will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I found this regarding the reminder to move feature:

https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1986/?l=en_US&fs=RelatedArticle

Then, noticed this feature is available as version 8.301.4

How do I upgrade my firmware?

The software is being gradually rolled out to all us Blaze users. When your update is ready you'll get notified. Until then there's nothing you can do to force the update.

@Jazeeboo without knowing which version firmware your tracker has, it will be hard to help.

On the Blaze swipe over to settings, tap, then scroll then scroll to the bottom.. If you see 200 in the middle your blaze doesn't have reminders yet.

Thanks! I found where the update was released but after following the instructions on how to upgrade the firmware, it doesn't work. I don't see the option (something pink) to upgrade. Read they're rolling it out in waves? Although it was officially release.

To see the "Reminder to Move" - power down your iPhone and restart it!

I couldn't find it either, despite updating the tracker to V8.301.7

I then powered down my iPhone6S and re-started it, and voila, the reminder was in the settings!

@MJH1954 have you checked your blaze settings - reminders to move.. Here you can turn them on/off, and set the hours/days.

@brookdj I'm not sure what your asking, but the reminder comes on the 50 minute mark if the hour doesn't have 250 steps

What am trying to say is it vibrates sometimes if I haven't moved 250 steps in on hour. But something it doesn't vibrate even I have not done my 250 steps.
