just bought fitbit and want to get started, but can't get past the "turn on bluetooth.... " window. found out that my bluetooth is not 4.0. should i just pack it up and send it back?

just bought fitbit and want to get started, but can't get past the "turn on bluetooth.... " window. found out that bluetooth on my macbook pro is not 4.0. should i just pack it up and send it back?  Is there a work around?  other than get a smartphone...  that's not going to happen.

As I see it, in no particular order, you have choices,
If you have a dongle from a different Fitbit use this.
If a friend has a dongle that you can borrow or keep, then use it.
Contact.fitbit.com and let them know that your Mac requires a dongle.
Go to www.fitbit.com/store and buy a dongle.
I'm not sure if it works in Mac, put the Blaze into its charger, plug the charger into the Mac, then try the setup.
Use a phone or iPad to setup and sync the tracker.

I would first contact fotbit, they have been known to drop one into the mail
