Fitbit Blaze Not Syncing Overseas

I am on a trip to the UK. I do not have cellphone coverage there, I have Airplane mode on.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 7. I cannot sync my Blaze.

Android 6.0.1

It says to turn on GPS but I am in Airplane mode. Why will it not just sync via Bluetooth?

I was here 6 months ago and it worked then.

Is there a fix for this or am I doing something wrong?

@SeanD-Steps  You don't need GPS to sync, but you do need an internet connection.  Either through wifi or using cellular data network.  Since you are in airplane mode, this is why you cannot sync.

As mentioned by our friend, you need to have internet connecting to sync the tracker, if you have your phone in Airplane mode you won't be able to sync the Blaze. The best recommendation is to find a place with wifi or you can always sync with your computer.
