Fitbit Blaze Problems - Heart Rate tracking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Blaze has stopped tracking my heart rate and all the related activities -sleep, calories since the update at the beginning of the week.  I thought it was just me but it appears that there are many of us that have the same issues.  Hopefully they will send out a fix soon.  I had no idea how much I checked it or studied it until I can’t use it anymore.

I have emailed customer support directly but haven’t had a reply, they are probably inundated with disgruntled Fitbit Blaze wearers.

Great to welcome you @Sammibigbutt. Could you please provide me with a screenshot of your Dashboard to confirm that your information isn't being recorded? In the meantime, I recommend following the instructions provided in the Having trouble syncing? post.

Hope to hear from you soon. Smiley Happy

I am not having trouble syncing.  As you can see I have synced my steps successfully.

i have the green lights flashing on my device and my heart rate setting is at auto.  I have reset my device with no success and I have switched off the heart rate monitor - synced the switched it back to auto and synced again.  It is still not recording my heart rate.

i have completed a 6k run today and as you will see it has not picked this up at all as it says I have not done any exercise today.

its also not recording my hourly steps and I am not getting my reminder to move even though it is switched on.

Seems thee are some critical faults with the blaze, I just bought mine and with all these issues I think I will return it as it is not suitable for its intended purpose.

I think you can do this within a year.

Any electronic device can be returned when it is faulty, and software problems which are critical to its function fall under this. If you have the box or not, you can demand a refund from the retailer that sold it to you. Amazon are very good at this but you have to email customer service and say it is faulty.

I have a similar issue since the last update.

It seems like the HR tracking has some quirks. It actually sees my HR but when I get on my stationary bike and start pedaling, it still shows about the same HR. It usually takes around 15 minutes until it wakes up and properly track my elevated HR. Note that during this time, it does have a lock on my HR.

Seems to be a recent regression.
