I am thinking about buying a Fitbit Blaze, I currently track my steps with a Samsung Galaxy S6
If I sync my data to my phone or computer everyday how far back can I go look at the data after its gone from the watch
On my Samsung I can go back and look at the amount of steps I did on days back to October 2015 when I 1st started using the app
If I first started using the Fitbit Blaze last October would I now be able to go back and look at the steps I took for a day that was 6 months ago or can I only look at the steps I took for the last 30 days, or 7 days?

@Corvettekid I believe that the fitbit retains its storage when the battery runs out but it stops tracking new data
Once your fitbit has synced all the data on the fitbit is uploaded to the fitbit servers. Data is not help on your phone, it just shows the data on the servers. So, there's no need to backup your phone and you backup your fitbit by syncing.

Once the data has been synced to the fitbit servers it is there permanently so you can review all the you track from the day you start using fitbit. So it sounds the same as your Galaxy.
Also, the Blaze can hold up to 7 days data between syncs.

You can sync once a week if you want to.

(1) If I haven't synched....and the battery dies...then I recharge.....will that days data (or the last few days, since the last synch) be saved ?
(2) How can I backup all the data on my Galaxy S4's FitBit app ? If I lose my FitBit or my Galaxy S4 is stolen/lost.....

@Corvettekid yes the data won't be lost, with a dead battery.
As for how long the Fitbit will store between syncing, it's 7 days of detail and 30 days of daily summery.
As @SteveH says this is the reason your able to see your days through several devices and also at fitbit.com. No days is ever stored locally to you.
