Fitbit Blaze didn't record walk

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just went on a walk and my Blaze did not record or recognize that I was walking on my dashboard.  It recorded the steps but not the fact that it was a walk (brisk).  I only got the blaze yesterday and it recorded my 2 walks from yesterday as walks with no problem.  So what has changed?

Try restarting your tracker a few times (it does not always work right away, so it is recommended to do it 3 times) as explained in this article. It can fix a lot of things. Please let us know if it happens again despite the restarts.

I just did a walk and it still didn't recognize it as a walk.  I did reset it three times like you suggested but it still did not recognize it.  It counts the steps but just won't recognize the walk excercise.

I am not very happy about this as I only got it yesterday and it was working fine then.

What do you suggest I do next to get it to work properly?

My next suggestion would be to contact support.

Did your walk last long emough for the minimum time your settings are set for?

It has started working again now.  I will just have to hope it stays operational.

How long were your walks? There's a current issue with runs not showing up on the dashboard either - the only ones working for me are under 5 mins, everything over doesn't show up.

My walks are around 25-30 minutes.  But it all seems to be working now.  It takes a while for the dashboard to show that I did a walk, it does not happen immediately.
