It's nice to have you here @MartinezDj! It sounds like you haven't set up your Fitbit Blaze in your account. That's the reason why you're getting the fitbit.com/setup message in your display. Please make sure that you have done this set up process

Note: you can double check that your Blaze was properly set up by going to your Dashboard > click on settings and below there you should see your tracker's picture.

Hope this helps!

I am having the same problem. Fitbit will not update because its not charged and it will not charge because its not updated. Such a waste of time.

Plugged into a usb on computer and not response beyond the fitbit.com/setup icon. restarted and nothing and not sure how to find my fitbit on profile to confirm setup was completed.

This is not an out of the box product if it takes more than an hour to get going.

Allow me to help you @cyclingmadaus! Your Fitbit Blaze should charge as it doesn't have anything to do with the firmware update, the latest firmware update resolved the syncing issue with iOS.

Please confirm that you're charging your Blaze by following this steps. Once your tracker is set up in your account you should get the tracker picture when you click on settings. (See screenshot below)

I am having the same problem.  I am not able to set up my brand new, out of the box,  Fitbit Blaze. It charged all day to see if that was the issue and still will not connect or pair. My wife had the same fitbit and phone.  Hers works fine (after she updated today.  She got me a new Blaze for Christmas, and we are not able to complete set up.

Welcome to the Fitbit Family @bwballou! Great to hear that you and your wife are using Fitbit Blaze. I would like you to confirm that you're following this set up procedure in order to have it linked to your account.

Additionally, are you getting any error message when you're trying to set it up? Have you tried using a computer?

Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

Yeah I'm having the same issue, was lucky enough to be able to set it up, but put it on charge over night and woken up to it having the empty battery bar flashing, along with an email stating it was running low (this was plugged into my iPhone charger), so plugged directly into my PC for 1 hr, no difference and have tried the other 2 USB ports on it with the same result...

I am trying to setup the Blaze for my mother (got it for xmas) who is beside herself that this has been so hard. Not a great introduction to wearable tech.

There is a number of posts even well before Xmas with the same issue of the never ending loop of not enough battery to charge, can't update software. It doesn't matter where you try and plug it in to get power, it will not charge.  I have swapped one already and tried to setup a second Blaze and it is still not working. Please don't tell us how to setup the device as I have now offically done it 6 times on two different devices.

I have also emailed the HelpDesk and they have not been that helpful to date either. They have just sent through the setup information again. I have explicitly told them the issues and also told them to go look at this Commity Help page to see that there is a bigger problem and numerous posts about the same issue. They either have a software or hardware problem. No response yet. So if any people out there are in direct contact with Fitbit tell them that they have a problem and that people are not happy. They also need to be supplying more information about the issue not just providing the useless setup details again.
