Fitbit Blaze keeps dying

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Got Fitbit Blaze Jan 17, up until last week no problems. First about month ago it would show I ran 5 mile after completing a known and measured 7 mile loop. Then Starting last week battery was running out in less than 24 hours. Restarted it, charged it, charged it in different USB ports- shows 100% charged and when I put it on and try to run, it’s almost dead and won’t work. Have downloaded updates, reset it, cleaned it... nothing works. Any suggestions??

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. I would like to know if you have already contacted our support team, have they offer you a solution for this issue?

Hope to hear from you soon. Smiley Happy

Hi there,

I have recently purchased by Blaze and have been experiencing the same issue. Blaze states it is fully charged and once taken off the charger it goes black after a minute or so. Tried to reset and check if its a firmware issue but no resolution. Have also sent a message to support but will continue to try some troubleshooting in between tears lol. I loved this thing until it started to act up :'(!

@Kelsey_Im sure support will get back to you. Just remember it is a Holiday

But you can try these steps in the mean while to see if it helps

Please clean the contacts
http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/My-tracker-s-battery-isn-t-charging/?q=not+chargi...

Then Do a Restart

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery
