Fitbit Blaze not responding

I have been having issues where if I took the dog for a walk the blaze would log the steps but after syncing would not show up in the exercise tab of the app.  I have been liaising with Fitbit support and tried everything to get it to sync properly.  This morning they emailed me to say that they could not see the restart of my watch.  So at 6.06 am I shut down and restarted my watch up.  At 6:08 am I synced again and the exercise which was 20mins of walking still did not show.  Then between 6:15 and 6:20 am this morning my Blaze has now died.  Nothing on the watch would work, the screen was black just dead as a dodo.  I put the watch back in the charging unit at 6.20am and nothing it is not charging or starting up at all.  Has anyone had this issue before?  Otherwise the watch is going in the bin.

Hi there @Rae9911, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm very sorry to hear that you're having problems with your Blaze first not syncing your activity correctly and now not turning on. Thanks a lot for all that you've already tried. I'd like to help you out!

First, I'd like to know if you've tried using different USB ports our a wall outlet to charge your tracker and see if that makes any difference. If by any chance it gets to respond, you can try to restart it and then, try to set it up to your account as a new device.

For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Hope this helps and if you still need help, feel free to let me know!

Hi Ferdinand

I only ever charge my Blaze by plugging it into a wall socket and using mains electricity to charge it, I never use a USB on a computer.

I have tried the charger on different sockets in the house and it is not working the Blaze will not activate.  I checked it lunchtime and it would still not turn on or charge up even though I charged it last night.

I am beginning to think that my Blaze has died for good and the only place fit for it is now the dustbin?
