Fitbit Blaze not syncing consistently to iPhone 8

I have recently changed phones from a Samsung S7 edge to an Iphone 8 and since doing this my app is not automatically syncing. I have to go in and manually do this.  I have Fitbit linked to My Fitness Pal and when I'm logging my day to day activities it's a pain to have to sync fitbit to get my exercise logged. I didn't have any problems setting up the device to the phone and everything else seems ok Is here a reason for this and is it fixable?

Hi there @Kazzam1912, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems getting your Blaze to sync consistently to your iPhone 8. I'd like to hep you out and thanks a lot for all the details.

If you still have the Samsung S7 around, it could be that since your Blaze was bonded to that phone previously, it's interfering with how it syncs to your iPhone 8. For this, I'd recommend syncing your tracker to your iPhone manually to avoid losing any data, then, you need to remove your Blaze from the connected Bluetooth devices on both phones. For this, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone. On your connected devices, look for your tracker. Tap on it, then choose the option that says "Forget this device" and after that, go to the Fitbit app. Tap on the icon of your tracker at the top left corner and scroll down to Notifications. Enable them and it will ask your permission to set up notifications, just agree to it.

After that, set up your Blaze as a new device on your iPhone 8. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Hope this helps. If you need more help with this, let me know. I'll be happy to help you out!
