Fitbit Blaze not syncing when phone time is incorrect

I am using a Fitbit blaze, and I usually have my time on my phone and my old watch set to 10 minutes faster than the standard time. but when I set the time this way on my phone and try syncing the blaze it does not sync and shows a red exclamatory mark. However it sucessfully syncs when I turn on " set time automatically" on my phone. I have tried it with both iOS and Android. Any way to solve this?

The fix is to set the phone to the correct time.
