I love Fitbit but trying to convert my boyfriend has been a challenge and now he is even more disillusioned can anyone help before he returns this 😞

Hi there @Syko226, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums!

I'm very sorry to hear that your boyfriend's Fitbit Blaze is not counting his steps accurately. Thanks a lot for all your efforts in getting it to work properly. I'll be happy to help you out.

I'm not sure what exactly you've tried already, so I will share some suggestions and you can try those you haven't already.

- Give his Blaze a quick restart. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make the tracker to reboot

- Check the personal settings. Make sure that information as height is correctly entered.

- If he's wearing his tracker on the dominant or non dominant hand, have him check that this setting is also selected on the tracker settings. He can see this by tapping on the icon of the Blaze and then, going to the Wrist option. This is very important for the tracker to know which hand it's being worn on since having it on a dominant or non dominant hand can make a difference.

-If none of the suggestions above work, he can try to set up his tracker as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
