Fitbit Blaze replacement discount

Have just been through the process with Fitbit help, and to be honest they were very good at getting back to me. Screen freezing, stuck on activities, and suddenly battery not holding charge, this was interestingly just after the latest update. eventually they said they have exhuasted all options, afyetr me sending videos etc . check warranty, out of warranty 6 weeks ago, but they will offer 25% Discount on some of there products (interestingly not there newest ones) lokked at the prices with the discount and still more expensive then buying from Argos in UK. I asked the question is the life expectancy of there products 2 years just come back with same discount, pointed out argos cheaper still same response

Think I will be buying a Garmin, more for your money better tech for less.

Hi there @Dunc12345. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you were having these problems with your Fitbit Blaze and I'm sorry that the discount is not what you'd expect.

When users are out of warranty, Fitbit as a gesture of goodwill offers a discount on the purchase of a new tracker which will have a one year warranty as well. Now, you can not choose some trackers to apply the discount to them because they need to be in the same category as the one you already have meaning that if you're replacing a Blaze which is a fitness activity tracker, it should be replaced for a similar device. Newer trackers as the Versa or the Ionic are Smart Watches and that's the reason why you can not use the discount on them.

Hope this makes sense and if you need anything else, I'm always around!

It seems 2 years is an acceptable life expectancy to fitbit, but not to me, my Blaze was the top of the range at the time of purchase but that ''discount'' only available on the lesser models

2 years use is not exceptable
