Can someone please help me. I've restarted and tried to sync and it is still displaying an incorrect time, won't sync and won't allow me to install the update.

Frustrated!!!

@tenacitytravels the key is in the statement that it wont sync, fix this and everything else will line uo.

For things to try, see my at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Blaze/Blaze-won-t-sync-or-update/m-p/1830265/highlight/true#M47371

If you need more help the please let us know what your trying to sync through.

A warm welcome to the Forums @tenacitytravels and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by.

Regarding the syncing inconvenience, I recommend following the steps provided in the Having trouble syncing? post, once it syncs the time should be corrected. If it doesn't, I recommend changing your timezone to a complete different one, sync your tracker, put the correct time and sync again.

To change the timezone, do the following from a computer:

1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon in the top right corner.
2. Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
3. Scroll down to the Time section and choose the time zone that best reflects your current location. You can also select 12-hour or 24-hour time display format here.
4. Sync your tracker to update your time zone.

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes. Woman Happy

So far I've restarted the Blaze numerous times, deleted and added the application, deleted the device and tried to add it again, and now it is timing out when I try to add the Blaze.

This all started when the new version of the firmware came out. I haven't had a correct time or been able to sync correctly since that happened.

I'm on an iphone 6. Please advise.

Thanks,

Amy

I'd be following this thread as I'm having the same trouble. I'm on an iPhone 6 as well and I'm having the exact same problem. I'm currently talking with customer service and if I get anywhere I'll be sure to let you know as well

Also something I've noticed as strange is it's not synced, can't update, can't control my music, but I still get text notifications on it. Is yours doing the same thing?

I am having the EXACT same issue! I've tried everything.

Problem occurred when I downloaded the update.

My fitbit is stuck on wrong time too and will not sync. It is so frustrating! AND yes I am still getting notifications on my phone. This is so annoying. I think it happened after I updated Fitbit app. I am on an iphone 5s. I think it is at the point where all these apps are now being created for newer versions of iphone and we start getting pushed into buying a newer version of the iphone. I mean, it kind of really sucks that if you update and it doesn't work that you can't then go back to the older version. Anyway, would love to find a way to fix this.

I have a Fitbit blaze that worked well for a while, this was great until a software update a year ago.

This is the rub, I’ve tried letting the battery go flat, I’ve tried changing time zones so many time even I’m confused as to where I am in the world.

I really loved my Fitbit but now I would not even think of buying another, I’ve tried to find out tech support contact details to no avail. Put the thing in a cupboard the over time when I’m bored have tried to use iPhone 5 the 6s, Apple Mac, IPad Pro and for reassurance a friends Microsoft phone my watch permanently shows 9:00 o clock.

Thanks for nothing as I paid £13 for a cheep Chinese very slim fitness watch that has run for 18months with no issues a superb app and long charge operating time. Oh yes its also accurate on footsteps as with Fitbit the watch would pick up simple tap of the finger as a step so lied.
if the cheap job stops tomorrow another £13 is not £190 for something you can’t get to work, sad but true.

I got to the point where it asked for the timezone but there was no place to sync. Trying to get the Fitbit app on my IPhone to sync with my Blaze would not respond. Do I have to uninstall the Fitbit app and re install it with my Blaze again? I have tried everything except going to the verizon store which I hesitate to do during the Covid 19 lockdown. Very frustrated for a long time with this problem. My watch tells me everything but the time; my IPhone Fitbit app tells me nothing except my personal information.

I bought a second watch and both are the same they just do not update time, Fitbit don’t seem to be able to help so they’ve now lost me totally as a customer. 18months the first watch has been like it so I thought it might be the watch but clearly it’s something with the app.
The Garmin models actually work better so I’ll stick with them sadly it does not link in to the FitBit system but such is life.

I finally got it to show the right time just by changing the clock face .
Couldn’t believe it could be so easy after trying all that other bs.
Go to the setup where they have the different clock faces and change.
Hope it works !!
