Hi Folks.
Just want to say hi and give my views on the blaze.
I purchased my blaze last week and I am pretty happy with it. It's comfortable to wear, offers plenty of tracking options and the heartrate monitor is pretty good.
As for improvements.
The steps seem to be about 2000 too many per day and I find that when driving it just goes crazy adding steps and as I drive a lot in work this will get very annoying. If the bottom right button could be used to stop/start the step counter when getting into/out of a car instead of showing notifications that would be an excellent start.
The next improvement would be the silent alarm. This was an important feature when choosing the fitbit but I have found it pretty useless. The vibration is way too weak and way too short. I find it odd that the notification vibrations are much more forceful than the alarm and would much prefer if the alarm vibrations could be improved. The watch is obviously capable of stronger vibrations as it makes them for notifications.
I feel that these are 2 simple fixes that could be implemented in one simple update. Both buttons on the right hand side of the watch could be used for different features as they are both currently doing the same job as swiping up from the bottom or down from the top. It seems like a waste of time having 2 ways to do the same thing and then leaving something simple out.
I hope this makes sense and would appreciate a response from a fitbit mod.
Again these are simple software update issues and not hardware issues. They have been mentioned countless times in the forum. I have 6 weeks left to return my fitbit blaze through Amazon and I will be doing so if I do not recieve a satisfactory response and will purchase a device from another manufacturer.
Regards
Denny

Excellent analysis an I totally agree. Have had mine for 2 days and thought the vibration was very weak at best. I also think placing FitStar on its on screen should be optional. Make better use of the screens available. This is obviously a sales ploy to gain more revenue. I will never use FitStar.
