Fitbit Blaze tracking accuracy

Just got a new android phone.  Prior to that, the HR, sleep, floors and active minutes had all stopped working consistently on my Blaze.  Everything related to steps was fine.  Was thinking about tossing the Blaze for a new device.  Since my new phone, all are back to tracking.  However----now HR and steps are tracking extremely high - like 120 bpm when in actuality might be 65 bpm. For steps should have tracked maybe 500 up to the Starbucks but it's tracked about 2500.   Any ideas anyone?

Welcome to the Forums @pmoyer.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing all of those details on the matter. I'm glad to read that it started tracking with your new phone.

In regards to the HR I'd like to recommend that you try tightening the strap around your wrist a bit more to ensure a better reading. Additionally please try to clear the HR sensor with a damp piece of cloth and then drying it. That should remove any particles that might be stuck in there and causing issues with the tracking.

As for the steps, let's try walking 100 steps while wearing the Fitbit. Count them yourself and then check how many steps did your Fitbit track. That should shed some light into what might be happening.

Let me know how it goes. I look forward to your reply.
